Talking Therapy

As a Multi-disciplinary practitioner I have been trained in many modalities including CBT and I have been helping women to change their lives in positive ways for many years. I believe we are all given particular gifts and one that I have is a love and talent for helping people to let go and relax through my spoken voice.
I am often asked if I can go home with people and carry on helping them relax, especially if sleep is a problem!

What I have found to be one of the most positive, soothing and relaxing ways of helping is through guided imagery or guided meditation.

Guided imagery is a really powerful way of looking at your life differently through the lens of active visualisation coupled with the deepest possible body relaxation to create a better more useful vision of the life that you would rather have.

I will guide you on an inner journey, using meditation and relaxation to create your future self in the way that you would like to, breaking off old beliefs and limitations.

Guided meditation is a really useful way of making positive changes to negative beliefs,fears and phobias. Quite simply in this quiet and calm space you release tension and fears and allow yourself to receive new possibilities into your life, possibilities that you yourself have chosen.

In this perfectly natural and peaceful space you can open the door to new potential and possibilties.

Imagine drifting into a lovely relaxed dreamy state, you quite simply relax allow yourself to take a break, listen to my voice as I guide you on a visual journey. Together we paint an image of a life you’d like instead of the one that’s causing you a problem. I will make some really useful suggestions given by you and I will teach you how to deeply relax your body so that you can benefit from the peace that this brings you.

It’s really that simple, calming and rejuevenating.

Habits, fears and behaviours are often learned responses from past events including Post Traumatic Stress. Many and varying situations in life will leave a lasting impression, whilst this is quite natural and normal there are times when this is not always good or helpful.
These responses are learned in the conscious or aware mind and then later stored in the unconscious mind and act as a behaviour loop that keeps playing long after it has served any useful purpose.

In this my Holistic practice I will also offer other beneficial therapies such as CBT, Mindfulness and Coaching tools to support your progress. So don’t wait, set yourself free and take home a gorgeous goody bag of new possibilities.

Fees

The first 2 sessions will need to be booked together, this will include including your in depth consultation and treatment plan and includes your second appointment.
The cost is £150 allow between 60 -90 minutes for session 1 & 45-60 minutes for session 2






  • Thereafter you may choose to pay as you go, sessions will last last approximately 60 minutes depending on your specific needs and costs £80.

Generally speaking I recommend 5 sessions to resolve most issues, some more complex issues may take longer and sometimes simple problems can be resolved in a single session.

  • Discounted rates for children or people in receipt of benefits, please ask.
    Children’s sessions are between 30- 45 minutes
  • Late cancellation fees apply (24 hours notice required or full payment will be charged).
  • Payment in advance via BACS or on the day ( cash only)
